“How Do I Motivate My Prospects?”

What can I do to get my new prospect to take action, buy from me or to join me in my business? I tell everyone around (the 3 ft. rule) me how wonderful my products/services are, how great my company is and how much money they can make. But, nothing seems to be happening! How do I motivate my new prospect?

Let’s get clear on what is meant by the question. You Can’t Motivate Others! However, you can move them forward by finding out what their desires are. This, by the way, is what you really want For them and From them. So, you see it’s not about “YOU and YOUR AGENDA!” It’s about what THEY WANT and GIVING IT TO THEM!

How do we do that? Good question, first we have to realize that desire is our internal source of motivation. It is the fire that encourages us to strive for something greater and higher than we may be experiencing in the moment.

Most people are already motivated. They just don’t know how or see how, to get from where they are “Now”…to what they want to be, do or have. They are looking at “What-Is.” Your job is to find out what their desires are. Rather they are looking for a service, want to improve and maintain their health or looking to generate extra income; having the “skills” to know exactly what to say and what to do makes all the difference in the world.

For an example, do you buy your gas at the pump? Well, I’m here to tell you the gas pump will not buy your product/service or join your business opportunity. The person behind the counter will! Why? Because they are building someone else’s dream. Now is the perfect opportunity to give your one min. presentation. Oh, you don’t have one?

There are two types of professional network marketers in the world. Those who know exactly what to say and do when they meet a new prospect and those who don’t. Which are you?

Desire, supported by a good plan and right action, leads only to success! What is your plan for 2012?

If you are ready to take your business to the next level, download a copy of Swamped with Prospects!

I look forward to supporting you on your journey to Self-Empowerment, Increased Prosperity and Wellness.

The Science of Prosperity in Your MLM Business

The Most Expensive Mistake That Every Network Marketer is Making!

There was a network marketer who did not have enough money.  She was always worried about the lack of money and her focus became how to get more money from her clients.

After attending a prosperity seminar, she decided to follow the advice of the teacher. Instead of focusing on not having enough money she decided to feel love and concern for her clients and work to get them the best education, coaching and training possible so they could build their business.

Within a short period of time, she was prospering more than ever and her clients had become her friends.  I am that person who has changed her thinking and actions from lack to plenty.

The lesson I learned is simple but powerful. Whatever your work or situation, everyone has talents and can develop skills that can help others to be happy and prosperous.

Think of all the ways your talents and skills can help others. When you cultivate love of people and sincerely wish them well, it becomes easier to help them attain what they desire and need.  Generate an enduring passion for serving them and then you will be motivated to do everything you can to help them.

Only those passionately devoted to offering the best service they can, to the most people, can expert increasing success regardless of the financial situation of the world.

When love is the dominant, motivating emotion behind your work, naturally you are in harmony with LIFE. Instead of thinking about what is lacking or just trying to survive, tap into Universal Intelligence to bring forth ideas that you can use to be of greater service.

Start right where you are with what you have and offer that with love. Soon you will rise to the top and all you need, will come to you in exchange.

I am dedicated to changing lives by assisting people in discovering and using the full potential of their own creative powers to move their life and business forward through personal growth and self-healing.

Frustrated Network Marketer-How to Get Leads Free!

Are you feeling burned out, exhausted, and overwhelmed?

Are you working harder and achieving less in you network marketing business?

Our culture has the belief that we have to “push ourselves to achieve success.” You’ve heard the sayings, “Put the pedal to the metal, no pain no gain, time is money” and so on.

Pushing yourself will not create change or make your business grow. I’m here to tell you, from experience, I failed miserably for years, YOU will not win the race!

Remember the fable The TORTOISE and the HARE?

The tortoise took a long time to move on his path.

The hare was always rushing around and engaging in the EGO (looking in all the wrong places for the answer) and lost the race!

(WHICH ARE YOU?)

Some people have figured out a way to turn their life around and own it, while others haven’t.

Why?

They will not take the time to work on themselves (nothing changes until you change) nor learn the skills to “know exactly what to say and what to do when they meet a new prospect.”

Would it be okay if I shared what I learned from this ebook Swamped with Prospects with you and how it changed my whole outlook and how I run my business.

Smart Goals For 2012

Paul J. Meyer describes the characteristics of S.M.A.R.T. goals in Attitude is Everything.

Terms behind the letters

There is no clear consensus about precisely what the five or seven keywords mean, or even what they are in any given situation. Typically accepted values are:

Letter

Major Term

Minor Terms
S Specific Significant, Stretching, Simple
M Measurable Meaningful, Motivational, Manageable
A Attainable Appropriate, Achievable, Agreed, Assignable, Actionable, Ambitious, Aligned, Aspirational, Acceptable
R Relevant Results-oriented, Realistic, Resourced, Resonant
T Timely Time-oriented, Time framed, Timed, Time-based, Timeboxed, Time-bound, Time-Specific, Timetabled, Time limited, Trackable, Tangible
E Evaluate Ethical, Excitable, Enjoyable, Engaging, Ecological
R Reevaluate Rewarded, Reassess, Revisit, Recordable, Rewarding, Reaching

Choosing certain combinations of these labels can cause duplication, such as selecting ‘Attainable’ and ‘Realistic’, or can cause significant overlapping as in combining ‘Appropriate’ and ‘Relevant’ for example. The term ‘Agreed’ is often used in management situations where buy-in from stakeholders is desirable (e.g. appraisal situations).

Developing SMART goals

Specific

The first term stresses the need for a specific goal over and against a more general one. This means the goal is clear and unambiguous; without vagaries and platitudes. To make goals specific, they must tell a team exactly what is expected, why is it important, who’s involved, where is it going to happen and which attributes are important.

A specific goal will usually answer the five “W” questions:

  • What: What do I want to accomplish?
  • Why: Specific reasons, purpose or benefits of accomplishing the goal.
  • Who: Who is involved?
  • Where: Identify a location.
  • Which: Identify requirements and constraints.

Measurable

The second term stresses the need for concrete criteria for measuring progress toward the attainment of the goal. The thought behind this is that if a goal is not measurable, it is not possible to know whether a team is making progress toward successful completion. Measuring progress is supposed to help a team stay on track, reach its target dates, and experience the exhilaration of achievement that spurs it on to continued effort required to reach the ultimate goal.

A measurable goal will usually answer questions such as:

  • How much?
  • How many?
  • How will I know when it is accomplished?

Attainable

The third term stresses the importance of goals that are realistic and attainable. While an attainable goal may stretch a team in order to achieve it, the goal is not extreme. That is, the goals are neither out of reach nor below standard performance, as these may be considered meaningless. When you identify goals that are most important to you, you begin to figure out ways you can make them come true. You develop the attitudes, abilities, skills, and financial capacity to reach them. The theory states that an attainable goal may cause goal-setters to identify previously overlooked opportunities to bring themselves closer to the achievement of their goals.

An attainable goal will usually answer the question:

  • How: How can the goal be accomplished?

Relevant

The fourth term stresses the importance of choosing goals that matter. A Bank Manager’s goal to “Make 50 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches by 2:00pm.” may be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, and Time-Bound, but lacks Relevance. Many times you will need support to accomplish a goal; resources, a champion voice, someone to knock down obstacles. Goals that are relevant to your boss, your team, your organization will receive that needed support.

Relevant goals (when met) drive the team, department, and organization forward. A goal that supports or is in alignment with other goals would be considered a relevant goal.

A relevant goal can answer yes to these questions:

  • Does this seem worthwhile?
  • Is this the right time?
  • Does this match our other efforts/needs?
  • Are you the right person?

Time-bound

The fifth term stresses the importance of grounding goals within a time frame, giving them a target date. A commitment to a deadline helps a team focus their efforts on completion of the goal on or before the due date. This part of the S.M.A.R.T. goal criteria is intended to prevent goals from being overtaken by the day-to-day crises that invariably arise in an organization. A time-bound goal is intended to establish a sense of urgency.

A time-bound goal will usually answer the question:

  • When?
  • What can I do 6 months from now?
  • What can I do 6 weeks from now?
  • What can I do today?

You can struggle for years in MLM and learn through trail and error or you can read this book…Swamped with Prospects!

The Earth Is Flat! Is Your MLM Business?

I have some good news and I have some bad news.

The bad news, most Network Marketers are working for minimum wage and don’t even realize it! It was a long-held “truth” that the Earth was flat. Well, that idea was based upon a false perception. Now, wasn’t it?

Truth is a difficult subject to speak about with any clarity. What is true for me may not be true for you.

It is important however, to decide what truth means for you. There is, what is, termed “perceived truth” which comes from one’s perception; but perception can be based on past experiences! This, by the way is where most of us live and co-create from, THE PAST!

For an example, I stated earlier that most Network Marketers are working for min. wage. See if you are…all you need to do is check the number of hours that you are working and divide that into your bonus check amount to get your answer.

To determine how many customers and partners that you need in your business to make the amount of money that you have said that you want is simple.

Take the amount of commission/bonus money you make on each (the average) and divide that into the monthly check that you want and you have your answer.

(Example) you want to earn $1000 per month and you make $7.00 per person, you would need 143 people using your product or service.

It’s a shocker when you see the answer for yourself, isn’t?

The good news is some of us have found the “truth” about how to do this business. We have learned the skills and now know exactly what to say and do when meeting new business partners and customers.

The solution…is to spend fewer hours using skills that do not work

and learn the skills that do get results.

If the results that you want are more customers and partners, then I can help you to learn the 25 skills that every Network Marketer must know to succeed in their home based business. Save yourself years of failure, frustration and minimum wage checks by downloading your free copy of…Swamped with Prospects!

I am looking forward to helping you earn the money you are worth.
